About me
I grew up in a traditional Chinese family, and came to u.s for advanced studying in area of nutrition and food. Food always plays an important role in my life since I was little. My mom is an health educator as well as an business woman who does nutrition supplement business, she influences me the way I think about how nutrition effect individual’s health . During the six years of staying in U.S, I have learned so many differences in terms of varieties of food, food regulations, food safety guidelines, cooking techniques , tasting , as well as nutrition educations between China and U.S. I think each side has its advantages and disadvantages, and this is part of my strength understanding Western and Asian food culture really well. My future goal is to become an RD who has the ability to incorporate the food related knowledge of two cultures together to better counsel and assist people, proving them new ways to promote positive life change, and improve their health,quality of life.
